Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best way to begin if I am new?
In the beginning, we require all beginners to Pilates and most newcomers to our studio begin by taking an Evaluation Lesson. During this session we will assess your movement history, postural or rehabilitation needs, your fitness goals and will offer an appropriate path of progress for you.
How early should I arrive to class?
Please plan to arrive 5 minutes early for any booked lesson or class. Latecomers to group classes will be admitted at the discretion of the instructor.
What should I wear and bring to class?
Socks are required while in the studio.
Masks are optional in the studio. We welcome everyone to make the best choice for themselves and expect that some participants will continue to wear masks during their time in the studio. At the same time, some people will choose to be mask-free. You may also request that your instructor continue to wear their mask during your session.
Please refrain from wearing strong perfumes and/or fragrances when coming to the studio, as others around you may have sensitivities to these products.
What is your class cancellation policy?
To avoid late cancellation fees, a full 24-hours notice is required to change or cancel any booked class or private session. If you need to cancel without the required 24-hours notice, and this cancellation is due to illness that could be transmissible, we are offering the chance to keep your paid packages for private, semi-private and groups intact, and instead will charge you a reduced late cancellation fee for that session. We ask for your honesty and support in this.
