Jana started her journey into Pilates in 2015 and immediately fell in love with it! Being physically active has always been an important part of her life, growing up running and playing competitive sports. After her first Pilates class she felt an appreciation for the type of exercise and overall experience she had just opened the door to. Pilates introduced a new challenge and created a focus on the connection between mind and body. As Jana continued her personal practice she noticed a transformation in the way her body felt, not only did she feel strong, she found an efficiency in her movement and an overall awareness of her body.
After exposure to a variety of different Pilates methods, it became clear to Jana that she wanted to deepen her practice and understanding of the body. The methodology and movement style of Balanced Body was her clear choice.
When not in the studio Jana enjoys diving into a good book or hitting a concert.
